More recently, they have also been utilized for work purposes such as office/accommodation & roadshows
How much should I budget for?
The cost of a toy hauler can vary significantly based on its size & features. Here’s a general guide to help you budget:
Base enclosed trailer: $22,000 to $52,000 inc gst. Starting from 3.6m & the classic escape (curved front) to a 7m Tough N Rugged (chiselled front) with your average enclosed trailer about $32,000 - $45,000.
Base trailer with basic features: From $37,000 inc gst. For the basic features, you could expect to add about $15,000. For the average kit out, you could expect about $35,000, but it totally depending on what features you are after. Internal lining and bathrooms are one of the things that can make the cost jump up significantly.
Caravan with garage: $85,000 to $120,000+: These toy haulers come with premium features and have the luxury bathrooms, kitchens, living area, beds & garage. Making your home away from home with your favourite toys!
What is the process to buying a toy hauler?
Firstly, we seek to understand what it is that you are after. We have plenty of different layout options, material samples & innovative ideas to make your dream build come true. Build time can take 2-4 months depending what you are after. Payment is made in thirds; first third when ordered, second third when chassis is complete and final third on completion. We have an open door policy so you are welcome to visit or have a video call anytime. All trailers come with a 3 Years WOF (Rego plate supplied by you, so no need to change ownership)
Caravan vs toy hauler
If you like going away and taking your hobbies with you, such as dirt bikes, jet skis, SXS etc, then toy haulers are the way to go. The main difference is that toy haulers have large garage space. Just like caravans, toy haulers can also have kitchens, bathrooms, living area & beds but toy haulers tend to be more multi-functional. Toyhaulers Ltd build strong but lightweight so they can handle loads of up to 2200kg
What are the pros of a toy hauler?

What are the cons of a toy hauler?
CONS
Can be quite a large trailer that might be harder to manoeuvre or park in town
You need to ensure you have the right tow vehicle so it can handle the weight behind it
If you don't have our relocatable axles, then weight is only set up correctly for when you are carrying your toys
Can toy haulers be self-contained?
Definitely, when you want your trailer to be self-contained, we will make sure it is compliant & get you the certificate.
